Stella McCartney, on the other hand, is always coming up with new ideas to cut down on waste. Since 2016, she has only used recycled cashmere, and since 2017, she has only used recyclable nylon.
The company also crafts vegan substitutes for leather using apple and grape waste, a harvest by-product of Veuve Clicquot.
The renowned British designer claims that she has broken the boundaries between genders and generations for her Summer 2024 collection, reinterpreting classic pieces from her portfolio as well as ones she borrowed from her parents and her kids.
According to Cara’s parents, Pandora and Charles, the new campaign was launched barely a week after an electrical fire completely damaged their Los Angeles residence.
The model released two brand-new photos of her kittens last week, showing them after rescuers rescued them from the massive fire.
As can be seen in overhead images, the fire started early on Friday morning, severely damaging the property and causing her roof to collapse.

A 911 call was placed at approximately 3:57 a.m. PST, and firefighters quickly arrived on the scene, according to TMZ.
A total of 94 firefighters were said to have arrived in 13 different engines to battle the fire.

Using recycled cashmere in her collections since 2016, Econyl fiber and recyclable nylon since 2017, and the leftover apple and grape debris from Veuve Clicquot’s harvest as a substitute for leather are just a few examples of the innovative ways the designer has been experimenting with new materials.
The collection draws inspiration from a campaign that McCartney exhibited during Paris Fashion Week in October of last year. For the day, McCartney converted the nearby Marché Saxe-Breteuil into Stella’s Sustainable Market.
