In other words, having healthy, “salon-worthy” hair and a healthy scalp are mutually exclusive.

Oribe is among these brands. They are the high-end haircare company behind the well-liked Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, which has received more than 70 five-star ratings on Adore Beauty alone.
A new line from the bougie Oribe Haircare firm is designed especially for people with oily scalps and hair types.
Using a three-pronged strategy, the Serene Scalp Oil Control series helps relieve irritated scalps and excessive oil production.
I was thrilled to receive the Oribe Haircare Serene Scalp Oil Control collection to try because I have greasy hair that turns oily literally a day and a half after washing it (I also touch my hair a thousand times a day).
Aside from the gorgeous packaging, I was excited to try this three-step series because it claims to increase the interval between washes, balance the microbiota of the scalp (yes, it exists, just like your face and skin), and target oily roots like mine.

My Oribe Serene Scalp Oil Control Treatment Mist review:
I’ve had this experience before, so when I first spritzed this over various areas of my scalp (as well as on my moist hair), I anticipated that it would dry down sticky and that my hair would feel grainy or chalky after blow-drying.
Thank goodness, it wasn’t sticky!
My hair felt a little silkier as it immediately soaked into it.
My hair wasn’t weighed down by the sheer, light formula either.
I’m absolutely overjoyed to be adding a scalp mist to my hair routine that is made especially for those with greasy hair like me.
You’ll have to read down to my final verdict to find out what else I didn’t anticipate that I believe this mist was partially to blame for.

My Oribe Serene Scalp Oil Control Shampoo review:
Using an Oribe haircare product has always felt like a sensory experience, from the opulent and opulent packaging to the fragrances and texture.
It was the same with this shampoo.
It smelt like an upscale bouquet of flowers and felt quite beautiful when applied.
What would make me buy it again?
Investing in high-quality shampoo is usually worthwhile, as I’ve noticed that many supermarket brands tend to dry out my hair.
This one was also liberally spread throughout my thick hair, which is important to me.
Many of the high-end shampoos I’ve tested don’t work their way through all of my hair and work better on thinner hair types. This also lathers well, which I like (while it’s not necessary, I enjoy the feeling of a nice lather in my hair).
My hair felt incredibly clean and looked really renewed after blow-drying, thus their claim of “rejuvenated” hair is genuine.
The fact that I saw very little frizz after using the shampoo and mist together most amazed me!
I usually have to run my ghd over my shampooed hair after blow-drying it to smooth down frizz, but in this instance, I didn’t have to. Fantastic!

My Oribe Serene Scalp Oil Control Dry Shampoo Powder review:
I love using dry shampoos a lot.
They’re a must-have for me in terms of attractiveness because I have oily roots and hair that get greasy very quickly (mainly from constant touching).
They also frequently end up in my travel bag first when it comes to beauty products.
As you might imagine, not all of the dry shampoos for oily hair that I’ve tested are so good.
Some leave my jet black hair looking and feeling worse (i.e., gritty, sandy, and dry), some smell too powdered, some leave a chalky residue, and some don’t absorb quickly enough, leaving me with a white shadow.
Not nice.
Fortunately, none of those naughty things were done by this pricey dry shampoo.
It quickly absorbed the oil, had a pleasant scent, and gave my hair more zhuzh (which lasted for several hours without going limp) while mattifying my oily roots.
Although it’s pricy for a dry shampoo, this one is great if you do want a luxury one.
Final Verdict…
Naturally, utilizing a range that caters to my particular hair type is fantastic, as is the sensory experience that Oribe products offer in terms of scent and texture, but the volume was something I wasn’t prepared for.
I’m fairly certain that the increased body in my hair came from the shampoo and mist working together. I appeared to have had a blow dry by a pro!
A day after washing, my hair still had a lot of volume in the photo below!
I urge you to try this collection if you want to treat your oily scalp and hair while still looking like you just got your hair done at a luxury salon.
