Are you tempted by picture after picture of amazing Style Hacks inspiration when you browse your Instagram feed? (I’m sure you do!) You go ahead and purchase every item you’ve been eyeing. However, when you put them on, they never seem to appear exactly the same in your reflection.
Here’s where a few basic Style Hacks tricks really shine. A single tiny change can transform an ensemble from “I love it” to “I loooove it.”
similar to knowing whether a crossing or straight front tuck will enhance the appearance of a shirt. or when rolling up the hem of your trousers is a smart option. That’s the advantage of possessing some well-thought-out stylistic cues.
Style Hacks for the summer should be carefree and effortless, far simpler than mastering that flawless eyeliner wing that your friend claims is “so simple.” Thus, below are my top ten easy tips for unique summer style:
1. Knot your shirt up for an effortless cool factor
Whether you tie your boyfriend’s fresh cotton shirt or purchase a pre-tied top, the result is always the ideal balance of sensual and casual. It looks great with your most comfortable shorts, jeans, or even a maxi skirt.
Three distinct shirt-tying techniques are demonstrated in the video below.
2. Blend textures
Combining upscale and casual textiles is one of the most popular trends among designers and fashionistas worldwide. It implies that you can pair pants with your stunning silky top with ease. A pair of basic trainers looks great with a satin skirt. Mix & mix to achieve a stylish and fashionable look. You may finish off the look by adding some statement pieces like a necklace or sunglasses.
3. Play with proportions
Try cutting tops and bottoms to different lengths to create a layered effect. You can add interest to your clothing by experimenting with those contrasts. For instance, wear slim trousers with a flowy shirt. or pair slim jeans with a long shirt. Don’t wear an enormous top and a bottom together.
Katelyn Baginski gives us a great example of how to wear a crop top and an incredibly long cardigan in the photo below. Excellent!
Katelyn, experimenting with proportions is also a fantastic way to combine complementary hues.Baginski is here to demonstrate how neutrals may work together wonderfully!
4. The 3 colors rule
Wearing more than three colours at once is discouraged under the “three colours rule.” Too much colour might give off a disorganised appearance. To preserve harmony between the accent and the matching colour, at least one of them needs to be a fundamental hue. All the same, the third colour need to be the focal point of your ensemble and your accent colour if you decide to pair two basic colours together.
5. The monochromatic outfit
You have the option to wear only one colour instead of the three, but there are still some guidelines to follow!
A monochromatic color-block ensemble, whether in all white or all black, is always a winner. If not, adhere to a major or secondary colour. Whatever colour scheme you choose, it will give you an ultra-luxurious appearance that will also make you appear longer and thinner.
My good buddy and gifted blogger Francy Scaltritti is demonstrating how a monochromatic black ensemble can be everything from dull in the picture below.
6. Explore prints and patterns
However, one at a time. Yes, I am aware of it.Instagram is flooded with this pattern-clashing phenomenon, but there are occasions when we can happily say “no thank you!”
A polka dot or flowery bottom will never go nicely with a striped top. Therefore, always wear it with something simple to avoid being disorganised:)
7. The front tuck
The front tuck, also known as the French tuck, is the ideal solution to many fashion conundrums and a terrific way to flaunt a basic top. It works wonders for sculpting your waist without a belt. It quickly lengthens and brightens you up while exposing your leg line. Fantastic if you’re small like me.
8. Less is more
Mademoiselle Coco Chanel once advised, “Look in the mirror and take one thing off before you leave the house.” Many frills are not necessary for an elegant look. Refrain from giving in to the need to add too many accessories at once.
The stylish factor is all in the thoughtful details. If you want to go dramatic, focus on just one piece, such as a striking necklace or lip colour.
To be honest, Kristanna is using a basic scarf to create a statement. It complements the rest of her ensemble, which is composed of simple colours and fundamental components, flawlessly.
9. Hide your lingerie
Nothing is worse than having your tight dress show through floral lace or bra straps sticking out of your top. Recall Bridget Jones?
10. Dress for yourself
Finally, this is the most crucial piece of advise I can give. Even while you should mix in a couple of the “latest things” to your existing wardrobe, use caution and common sense when doing so. Think about your lifestyle choices and personal Style Hacks. Because the key to making anything unique is to make it yours.
