Welcome to Worldglamz, your monthly news digest featuring the newest and most stylish items in beauty and fashion.
September usually feels like back-to-school season, regardless of how long it has been since we graduated. This implies that it’s a time for new beginnings. The newest wave of seasonal trends will be lining the aisles, fashion weeks from across the globe are set to take over our Instagram feeds, and fall movie season is almost upon us.
For that reason, what should one do when it seems that a fresh start is imminent? Of course, start shopping. Naturally, there are also a slew of new releases in fashion and cosmetics this month to add to your virtual or real carts. Examples of these include fall footwear, moisturiser that’s perfect for chilly weather, and new designer collaborations like Ganni x New Balance. Go through the slideshow above to see every fashion and cosmetics launch that’s happening in September.
Louis Vuitton Launches Neverfull Inside Out
The Neverfull Inside Out is a brand-new Louis Vuitton purse that is competing for space in your closet. The reversible bag, which debuts on September 20, is a take on the brand-loved tote bag by the fashion company. The classic LV monogram appears on the “outside,” and the “inside” is offered in vivid yellow, red, or pink with stripes, or in black or brown grained leathers. Another variation is smaller, comes in a wider range of colours, and has a detachable strap that lets you wear it as a cross-body or shoulder bag. Discuss your alternatives.
Larroudé x Markarian
Fall florals? Absolutely yes, if Larroudé and Markarian have anything to say about it. After working together on a made-to-order bridal shoe, the footwear manufacturer and NYC womenswear label have paired up again for a collaboration that has flower motifs splattered across wedges, flats, heels, and boots that are perfect for autumn. According to a news release, Larroudé co-founder Marina Larroudé stated, “This partnership is about more than just fashion; it’s about celebrating our shared love for creativity, femininity, and beautiful designs.” “We’re creating something that perfectly embodies the essence of both our brands: the bold spirit of Larroude and the elegance of Markarian.”
J.Crew Catalog Returns
This month, J. Crew, an American brand, is relaunching its classic fall catalogue after seven years. It features four distinct covers, one of which features Demi Moore, and features the brand’s new seasonal styles. There will be three versions of the catalogue released annually, and it will be accessible through the J. Crew app and at all J. Crew stores.
Amex Gold x Ana Bag
Luar has added a fresh twist to their famous Ana Bag. The New York fashion house and American Express collaborated to produce the Amex Gold x Ana Bag, a limited-edition top-handle bag that comes in gold, rose gold, and white gold metallic colours. A little Dunkin’ cup, a martini, an aeroplane and of course a Gold Card are among the charms that will be included in each bag. Pre-orders for the bag, which costs $265, will be accepted for its appearance on Luar’s forthcoming NYFW catwalk.
Mejuri Launches New Chains & Charms Collection
The popular charm jewellery is back, and Mejuri is where you can acquire yours. The “Make It Yours” collection, which includes 29 stackable charms with everything from gothic letters and numerals to animal designs, is a new offering from the Canadian business. In addition, Mejuri is now providing chains that can be customised for the first time. These chains may be worn and styled in a variety of ways, using the charms of your choice, of course, allowing you to express your individuality and play with your appearance. The price range is $48 to $2,500.
ba&sh x Maryam Nassir Zadeh
Especially if you’re buying core pieces from the latest ba&sh x Maryam Nassir Zadeh collaboration, leopard print is here to stay for autumn. Together, the French label and a NYC designer have created a line that features a leopard print and features staples for fall, such as knit dresses, cardigans, camisoles and sparkly shoulder bags. From $195 to $495 is the price range.
Glossier Crème de You Dry-Touch Body Butter
You can tell that the Glossier You perfume is absolutely unique if you’ve ever smelt it. The fragrance, “you, but better,” with a soft, powdery character that envelops your skin in a familiar musk, set the precedent for the current trend of skin scents (Phlur’s Missing Person being another viral favourite). Glossier You has now entered the body care market. The same delicate nuances that make the original Glossier Crème de You scent so alluring are present in the fast-absorbing body butter, along with ambrox, the skin-like, anchoring ingredient. Amber and iris are among the notes. Thanks to hydrating components like shea butter and jojoba oil, the lotion is thick and creamy without feeling greasy, as reviewed by many satisfied customers. Simply because of the exquisite red packaging, which complements the perfume bottle’s top, you should include this in your collection of skincare products for your bedside.
Scotch & Soda x Joe Jonas
As an ambassador for the Amsterdam-based fashion brand Scotch & Soda, Joe Jonas has taken on a new position that involves creating a capsule collection that draws inspiration from his colourful sense of style. Menswear and unisex items from the Scotch & Soda x Joe Jonas collaboration draw inspiration from the American West, classic Americana, and the 1970s. Pick from a variety of items such as matched chinos, patchwork-pocketed worker jackets, collared soccer jerseys, graphic ringer tees and more. The range of prices is $48 to $788.
Ganni x New Balance T500
Returning with a second partnership, Ganni and New Balance are centred around the ’80s icon, the T500, from the footwear company. The once simple trainers will come in white and will have Ganni touches like leopard print accents. This most recent release is a part of the Copenhagen brand’s ongoing initiative to support up-and-coming artists in its hometown. It will make its official debut in conjunction with an exhibition at its flagship store in Denmark, which will feature four exclusive T500 designs (ceramic or woolen-felt versions, for example) created by the creatives Masculina, Bonnetje, Camilla Skov, and Ojuna Njama Petersen from Copenhagen. Next, on September 20, the $150 Ganni x New Balance T500—which is constructed, in part, of recycled materials—will go on sale.
Converse x Isabel Marant
Although it might not seem like a match, Isabel Marant’s carefree French flair and Converse’s athletic vibe go together like clockwork in this new collaboration from the two brands. The traditional Chuck 70 high-tops with a 2.5-inch wedge heel—a reference to Isabel Marant’s well-liked sneakers from the 2010s—as well as flat variants of the shoe with pink laces and frayed fabric are part of the Converse x Isabel Marant line. The range of costs is $140 to $190.
Cindy Crawford Stars In New Good American Campaign
The iconic supermodel of the 1990s, Cindy Crawford, just landed a new role as the face of the Good American campaign. Crawford is seen wearing bodysuits, button-down shirts, denim, and other staple pieces from the company that Khloé Kardashian and Emma Grede created. Alongside the campaign, a new television series called “American Icons” will premiere, honouring trailblazing women who have made an impact and paved the way for others everywhere.
Saie Lip Liner 101
Saie has released a range of lip liners that are long-wearing and incredibly blendable, just in time for an exciting autumn lip combination. The colours apply smoothly and absorb into the skin owing to a combination of skin-quenching substances like glycerin and squalane. To complement a variety of skin tones, the Lip Liner 101 line is available in five shades: pink, mauve, and brown. They are the perfect match for the brand’s highly anticipated Glossybounce Hydrating Lip Oils, which will also come in three more shimmering tones (Remix, Shake, and Disco).
Mulberry x Rejina Pyo
The latest member of Mulberry Editions, a series that honours the legacy of the upscale British brand through creative partnerships, is Rejina Pyo. Using elements from Mulberry as well as her own designs, the London-based designer—who counts Meghan Markle among her admirers—created a limited-edition capsule collection. Discover handbags in fall colours, along with coats that are oversized, suits that belt and more. Mulberry’s archival Blenheim silhouette is reimagined with a knotted fastening that Pyo frequently uses. Another item to check out is a top-handle crossbody bag that draws inspiration from the Clovelly collection. From $220 to $1,525 is the price range.
Alo Debuts Running Sneaker
The sportswear company Alo is venturing into a new market: running shoes. The Alo Runner is a performance shoe made for running in your neighbourhood, on a beach, on a track, or on a trail, as seen before on Kylie Jenner’s Instagram. There are white and black colourways of the shoe available. In addition, it has reflective accents, multi-terrain grips for increased traction, a cushioned heel, and breathable mesh composed of 70% recyclable materials. On September 5, the Alo Runner will retail at $185.
Victoria Beckham x Augustinus Bader The Concealer Pen
The beauty line from Victoria Beckham Beauty has truly wowed us thus far, and this latest release is no exception. Concealer Pen: Developed in collaboration with editor-favorite luxury skincare brand Augustinus Bader, this product covers the complexion and, in Beckham’s words, “you need less the more you use it.” The key component in Augustinus Bader’s formula, TFC8, helps to achieve this. By encouraging skin cell regeneration, this potent combination of peptides, amino acids, and vitamins works hard to minimise the appearance of dark spots, under-eye bags, and breakouts. According to the product, your skin will remain hydrated and glowy for up to eight hours without crinkling or accumulating in your pores.
Levi’s x Kiko Kostadinov Collaboration
During Paris Fashion Week earlier this year, London-based designer Kiko Kostadinov showcased denim items from his first collaboration with Levi’s on the runways. These pieces are finally available for purchase. The menswear and female collections from Levi’s and Kiko Kostadinov are available. Look for items like panelled jeans, a jacket with long sleeves and a tight waist, and a three-piece denim suit. The range of costs is $220 to $690.
Gisou Honey Infused Hair Perfume Floral Edition
Even though summer is officially over, Gisou’s new honey-infused hair perfume will allow you to instantly transport yourself to a sunny, blossoming garden with only a single spray. The brand decided to permanently bring back the Lavender Berry scent after it was first introduced as a limited edition product in the summer of 2022 and met with such favourable feedback. The scent, which is earthy yet invigorating, has notes of lavender, ginger, blackberries, and of course, honey from the bee garden of Negin Mirsalehi, the founder and super-influencer. Given that it is naturally high in vitamins and amino acids, which draw in and retain moisture, honey makes a lot of sense as a hair component.
